1800 works sent to the 5th Allama Helli convention by young clerics

Executive secretary of Allama Helli convention asserted, “All brothers and sisters under the age of 31 from Iranian and non-Iranian seminary students who are under the age of 31 can take part in the convention.”

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) - In an interview with Hawzah News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mousa Hashemi new executive secretary of Allama Helli convention explained about the place of the convention among seminary students and clerics and described the convention’s goals, necessity and conditions, as well as the activities and programs of its secretariat.

Hujjat al-Islam Hashemi emphasized the significant scientific and political character of Allama Helli, who was one of the grand scholars of 7th and 8th century, and stated, “Late Allama Helli (RA) is a great role model for young seminary students, so this convention that is a major scientific and research fair is named after this great historical figure.” He added, “Allama Helli convention has a very important place among seminary students, professors and clerics, and it is one of the most important areas of scientific competition among young clerics.”

The Shia cleric named strengthening spirit and motive of research among clerics, promoting the culture of research and writing, identifying the elites and recognizing scientific endeavors of the young scholars of the seminary, and encouraging and supporting the best writers among them as the most important goals of the convention.

He asserted, “No special condition is required for participating in Allama Helli convention and all brothers and sisters under the age of 31 from Iranian and non-Iranian seminary students who are under the age of 31 can take part in the convention.”
